Our Taylor Swift Concert Experience
On the 11th of December 2013 we
went to a Taylor Swift concert for the Red Tour. We decided to get abit
creative and wear matching red skirts and home-made Red Tour t-shirts. To
finish it off we created light-up giant letters which read out S-T-A-Y (one of
Taylor’s songs on the album) and then the shape of Australia.

As everyone began to fill
the stadium, we captured the attention of many people and some even stopped to
take photos. During the opening act as we all
were dancing around to Guy Sebastian, an American security guy approached us
saying, “Is it just a group of five?” Initially, we thought we were going to be
told to sit down because we had been standing the whole night dancing. However,
he actually told us to turn around because Taylor’s mum wanted to speak to us.
We all turned in synchronisation and hiding behind a
pillar was Andrea Swift (Mumma Swift) who waved at us to come to her. We packed
up our belongings and in a rush of excitement followed the security guard up
the steps to where she was standing.

Our wristbands for the right-hand pit. |
She gave us all a hug and said, “Hey girls would you like to be front row with
me?”
We were all shocked that this was
happening and accepted straight away. We were then given wristbands to go into
the right-hand pit. As she was leaving she whispered to us to come to the
second stage during the song ‘
MEAN’ to watch Taylor perform in a special VIP
section with her.
We experienced the concert with such an
amazing view at all possible stages. It was all a bit of a dream and a truly
magical experience.
